Attendance software that fits how African teams actually work
Punctual is a GPS-verified staff attendance app made by Daarun Najaah Global Services (DNGS), a Nigerian company building lightweight, affordable web and PWA software for schools, small businesses, NGOs and underserved communities.
We built it because paper sign-in sheets get forged, biometric machines are expensive to buy and maintain, and many attendance products are adapted from Western HR tools that assume stable internet, high budgets and a desk for everyone. Punctual works from a phone, keeps working when the network drops, and costs a fraction of dedicated hardware.
What we believe
- Simple first. An admin should be running in minutes; staff should need one tap to clock in.
- Affordable and fair. Plans start small, prices are shown in your local currency estimate, and extra staff seats are sold in simple packs.
- Honest about limits. GPS and face checks deter and log; we say so plainly (see our Security Policy).
- Respect for staff. Location is captured at clock-in and clock-out, and live tracking is off unless an admin turns it on with a visible notice to the staff member.
What Punctual does
GPS-verified clock-in with a workplace radius, device binding against buddy-punching, shifts and rosters, break and permission sessions, offline clock-in that syncs later, records and PDF reports, leave and holidays, rewards and a leaderboard, WhatsApp and email alerts, and an in-app inbox and messaging.
